SOLO WORK
In this class, we work on how the students apply their dance technique knowledge in creating a solo piece of their own. Challenging their artistic expression and learning how to best structure one's time within a tight time frame, prioritizing, and problem-solving. The process is guided and through continuous feedback and different tasks, we provide possible solutions and follow the student in establishing their creative process and methodology. In each class the students will share their findings with their classmates, focusing on the performative aspect of solo work and ultimately preparing them to perform it for an audience.
